Delete your Hedia Account
When you delete your Hedia account, we will delete all data related to your account. This includes login credentials, logbooks, calculations, and settings.
If you want to start using Hedia Diabetes Assistant again, you will have to create a new account.
Retention of Health Records
- If you have used Hedia Diabetes Assistant, your account will contain health data related to you and your diabetes. In some countries, national rules require Hedia to store health data and health records for up to 8 years.
- If you live in a country where extended retention rules apply, eg the UK, we will delete your data from our production environment, and transfer your data to a secure archive. Once the mandatory retention period expires, your data will be deleted.
How to delete your account
To delete you Hedia account, please send a mail to support@hedia.com, with a request to have your account permanently deleted.
The email must be sent from the same mail you use for your Hedia account, so we can validate your identity.
